LinkGather - An Overview



This WordPress plugin gives you the ability to export the URLs for all your blogs articles in Excel design.

Get the plugin from the WordPress Plugin Repository by searching for LinkGather, alternatively you can just go to the link below:

LinkGather Plugin

Once you have installed and activated the plugin, you can start using it.

How To


A new tab on the options side of your WordPress portal will appear called LinkGather:

When you hover over this tab option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different options available for you:

If you click on the Home option, this will take you to the plugins homepage which includes instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Push the Post Links option to navigate you to the page that will display all of your websites published posts’ links. Note that for the purposes of this guide, we are using our WordPress test site with just a few URLs in it.

You should now see a table with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. Depending on how many posts you have will here depend on how long this list will be.

Underneath the URL list, you should see that LinkGather has also added up how many post URL you have.

You then also have the ability to download read more the posts in CSV style.

Page Links


The instructions above is exactly the same for Page Links, but instead of bringing back published links, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack URL's


The option for wp.me Links is again exactly the same method as those above, however, JetPack URL's are actually built in short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to get those links.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Assuming that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links menu will bring back all those wp.me Links that it has gathered:
